Explorer Barge Camp 2005

Well, undoubtedly, a great deal of fun and relaxation was had by all on this years Summer Camp. In tune with the Explorer's "Do something Different" philosophy, we went narrow boating. We travelled the 100 miles and 107 locks of the Warwickshire ring, taking in Birmingham, Cadbury's World and Warwick Castle on the way. There was some absolutely stunning scenery to be seen in the country side as well as the climb into Birmingham where the canal carves a sedate 19th Century path through the hustle and bustle of the 20th Century city.
