Authors Wanted

As can be seen from some of the content of this site, there has been little change recently. I am but one man and there are only so many hours in a day. To address this I would like invite everyone to take an active part in the site and the authorship of its content.

In order to be an author you must be a member of Gosport Scout District (If you have Gosport on your shoulder flash then you are) and aged 18 or over (Check your birth certificate or ask someone in your house hold). There are no requirements for any skills in geek-speak or HTML. If you can send e-mails then that’s enough. All I ask is that you send in an e-mail containing your article, information or content etc. and I will cut and paste it onto the pages for you. Any accompanying photos or other images should be sent as attachments to the e-mail. I can accept Word and Works documents or plain text (preferred). If you submit Word/Works documents with pictures or images in them, please attach the originals to the e-mail as the I cannot cut and paste the pictures to the site without them.

GSLs/ADCs/DSLs Your pages await

Group Scout Leaders have the opportunity to put up sites for their groups free of charge. The layout of the site is entirely up to you. Again, there are no requirements for any skills in geek-speak or HTML. I’ll do all the hard stuff.

Assistant District Commissioners and District Scout Leaders have previously not had representation on the site and I intend to address this. If you have any information or content you wish to submit, then please do so.

Please note that content that is time critical needs to be submitted at least a month in advance to give me time to do the work.
